Why Cant You Get Chicken Pox Again

DD2 had chicken pox when she was a couple of months quondam. Definately was as dd1 had it before long before.
Anyway tonight I've noticed about eight or 9 spots on her abdomen and breast. Big red patches with a little bump in the middle. Look at bit like chicken pox before they fill up with pus. Merely as I've said she's already had chicken pox and then any ideas what it could be?

yeah u can go it twice, i had it twice when i was little and both my kids have had information technology twice, they say u tin get information technology twice if the 1st time u had it was mild but this is untrue, as my ds got it when he was 1 severly, admitted to hosp for 5 days but nonetheless caught it over again when he was eighteen months.

also my dd got it when she was 3 and got it again nearly a year later.

promise its not the pox again and just a oestrus thing

They Tin can get chicken pox twice, particularly if your LO had a mild set on the first fourth dimension. Whereas if they had it really badly the 1st time they don't tend to get it again. Sage words from my sis-in-law with 4 kids!

Oh no. I'm keeping my fingers crossed now it isn't, I've got my finals so lo off not nursery with chicken pox would not be good. She did have it quite mildly first time and so I guess in that location is a take a chance. Oh well I'll know soon plenty

You lot definately can get information technology twice.  It happened to me.  I had them as a child then got them when I was 22!!  Definately better to have them when you are a child as I was really poorly with them as an developed.

Aye you can go information technology twice.  Two of my friends children accept had them twice.  Mild the first fourth dimension.

Sadly yes you tin can - Tom (OH) has had it three times at present.

BUT if you've had craven pox you're more liekly to get shingles which is worse

BOTH my LO's officially haven't had CP or BUT both take them have been in contact with CP many times
DD1 gets hot grumpy tired winy etc etc & every other symptom of CP every time BUT has yet to have the rash - i discussed it with a nurse who said "if the child gets a very mild Cp fifty-fifty 1 spot - it wont build up an immunity to CP so in theory can get it over & over until they get a big enough dose to build upward an immunity" and so i guess i have to wait until they get a full blown dose
My SIL (Harriet) DD2 got CP spots the day afterward my other SIL'southward DD3 got the spots (both kids go same nursery) DD1 had been in contact with BOTH girls the twenty-four hour period earlier the spots (so they were contagious) but neither got them BUT SIL2'southward DD2 got them a week later - again BOTH my DD's had been in contact & Null no CP for mine

bet that sounds confusing sorry

if you had CP as a child you CAN take hold of Shingles off a shingles sufferer
You CANNOT contact shingles of a CP sufferer
if you HAVENT had CP you lot CAN catch CP but Not shingles
meaning you tin only have shingles IF you have already had CP

i had a nasty dose of craven pox when i was 4, i then got them again at 12 and 14 but both these times they were mild!

YES.  Seems my 7yr erstwhile has CP for second (peradventure 3rd) time.
Nurse on NHS Direct says if you lot've had mildish dose before (yeah  for both times - though 2nd time less balmy than 1st fourth dimension) and so yous tin can get information technology once more.
NHS website says a US study in 1999 reported 13% of people suffering CP had had it earlier.  Website goes on to say there may exist different strains of CP, though there is no evidence!

You lot can't catch shingles off anyone, it's something that y'all might get if yous've ever had chicken pox in the past. You aparently and then carry the chicken pox virus in a fallow class until information technology one mean solar day possibly decides to flare up as shingles. If y'all have shingles you can requite other people chicken pox simply not shingles.
My LO had chicken pox at 3m and then shingles when he was a year.

ive had chicken pox mpore than in one case
have you had lo checked out as could exist a viral infection
also theres been a measles outbreak due to parents not getting their petty ones vaccinated confronting it. my daughters school has had the messages given out to sentry out for information technology

I heard y'all can just get information technology in one case only my dr. said he has seen children get it more than ordinarily. This is specially the instance if it isn't strong the commencement time, it can come up again. Obviously I had slight spots as a babe I just hope I don't get it when the kids come up across it.
